Split your time between Archery, Fencing and traditional camp fun and games. Learn Archery from our great instructors using the USA Archery, Explore Archery program. Our experienced fencing coaches will teach core foundational skills like advance, retreat, thrust and lunge as you learn to fence. At the end of the week, we wrap up with a fencing and archery Robin Hood Team Tournament, using electric fencing equipment. The experience isn't complete until you play Ga-Ga Ball. No experience needed and all equipment is provided. Our 20,000 square foot fencing gym and indoor archery range is located in Falls Church near the border of Arlington and West Alexandria. Steve & Kate's Camp offers a flexible, unstructured environment where children can explore a variety of activities, including baking, sewing, coding, and more. The camp provides extended hours and includes all meals during the day.

A “Best Summer Camp” Finalist with Washington City Paper, Step Afrika!’s week-long summer camp for rising 4th to 12th graders will return to Arena Stage in 2026. Led by the multi-talented artists of Step Afrika!, our annual camp combines core Step Afrika! values of teamwork, commitment, discipline, and academic achievement with excellent performance. Immersing students in stepping through the creation of their own Step Show performance, Summer Steps with Step Afrika! is not to be missed!
Summer@Potomac provides children in grades K–10 with enriching, fun-filled opportunities to explore, discover, create, and learn on a 90+ acre campus. The program offers traditional day camps, sports camps, and specialty programs in robotics, nature science, financial literacy, musical theater, sewing, and more. Camp dates for 2025 are June 16 – August 1, with 3-week session camps and weekly camps available.
Discover a summer camp like no other! Synetic Theater’s award-winning physical theater company brings its signature blend of movement, storytelling, and creativity to young artists ages 7–13. No previous experience is required—just curiosity, energy, and a willingness to leap into the fun.
Provides a camp based on Fairfax, Arlington, and Falls Church school calendars, offering daily activities including arts & crafts, games, treasure hunts, exercise, and dance, all while incorporating the importance of everyday manners. The camp is open to children aged 4 (or potty trained) through 12 years, with a Counselor-in-Training program for children 12 and older. Optional add-ons include extra care from 8-9 AM and 3-5 PM, and catered lunch. Pricing begins at $127 for the day (9 AM-3 PM) or $535 for the week. Extra care is available from 8 AM-5 PM.

At YMCA Arlington Tennis & Pickleball Center, your child can have an incredible camp experience in the court sport or their choice: tennis or pickleball! Tennis camp instruction is led by the pros from Pass Academy. Campers learn to improve their tennis skills on-court, while creating lasting friendships and memories. Your child will learn the fundamentals of the game through drills, games, and friendly competition adapted to age and skill level while practicing sportsmanship in a safe and fun environment. Pickleball camp instruction is led by the pros from ProsToYou. Campers enjoy an action-packed summer of fun and pickleball at the Y! Designed for kids of all skill levels to learn the game, develop new skills, and enjoy the camaraderie of team sports in a welcoming environment.
The YMCA Arlington Woodmont Gymnastics Center offers a Summer Gymnastics Training Academy designed to provide a full gymnastics experience. Emphasis is placed on skill development in all events, enhanced through dance, trampoline, strength training, nutrition, and sports psychology instruction. The facility is fully equipped with AAI equipment and more. Camp weeks for 2025 are June 23 – August 22.
